Froedtert Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our new CTVT (Cardio Thoracic Vascular Transplant) unite, opening fall of 2013. In this position, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care by determining the objectives of nursing care within the framework of the physician’s plan of medical care, the patient’s needs, standards of nursing practice, legal regulations and ambulatory surgery center policies and procedures. Additionally, you will perform other related duties as needed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, as well as quality of performance.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NCL) state
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Two years’ experience in Cardiac and/or Transplant
- Experience working in an operating room or critical care settings
