We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Nurse Manager of the PACU/CVSCU. This leadership position provides 24-hour responsibility for personnel and unit management that will effectively guide the quality and coordination of patient care, performance of personnel and the organization of the PACU/CVSCU. The successful candidate works collaboratively with nursing, anesthesia, surgical specialties, and the perioperative team to ensure quality practice and outcomes, coordination of patient care and efficient unit operations. Ensures the alignment of overall goals and the strategic plan set by the institution are carried out effectively and efficiently in the unit. To qualify you must have 3 years of PACU and critical care nursing experience, a BSN degree (Masters in Nursing preferred), along with 2-5 years progressive leadership experience. This individual must possess the ability to work in a very dynamic and fast paced environment, where throughput is of high priority. Proven communication, interpersonal skills and creative problem solving required.
