Job Description:The role of the registered nurse in the Bellevue Surgery Center will be a multifaceted and exciting challenge for the perioperative nurse.  The Bellevue Surgery Center nurse will provide nursing care to the ambulatory patient in a newly constructed building which promotes efficiency and continuity of patient care.  The position requires progressive competency in the preoperative, operating room, and post anesthesia phases of the patient/family experience.
Requirements:Required:
  • 2-3 Years OR Nursing Experience or 2-3 Years PACU Experience
·        Graduate of accredited school of nursing.·        CurrentWashington StateRN License.·        Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required for specific departments. - Current BLS for Healthcare Providers. Current PALS certification will be accepted in lieu of the BLS either at time of hire or as an annual competency.·        Specialty certification in area of practice may be required for specific departments. Preferred:·        BSN·        Pediatric health care nursing experience.

·        Pediatric OR or Pediatric PACU experience

·        IV Skills.
