This hospital-experienced systems analysis and implementation professional will lead or support Information Systems group projects to design/deploy key performance indicators, data marts dashboards, reports and other vital business analytics tools. Focusing on business intelligence software, i.e., Soarian Decision Support Solutions (DSS), functions include providing user support and interacting with system owners as well as super-users.
Working closely with IS Directors to assure timely response to user requests, queries and reports, this energetic team leader will perform systems planning, design, testing, documention, training, implementation and support functions. Interacting with management and staff, duties include defining problems/devising solutions and providing work/flow analysis, quality control, and change management.
Qualified candidates must possess education and operational experience at hospitals or healthcare software vendors involving business analytics or decision support tools in additon to:
- At least 5+ years of systems analysis and leadership experience involving implementation of major distributed processing systems.
- Background utilizing clinical, financial and ancillary systems within a hospital environment essential.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Health Care, Business, Health Information or Information Science) and familiarity with Siemens’ Soarian Financials, Soarian Clinicals, or Soarian Decision Support Solutions (DSS) preferred
- Experience programming/supporting minicomputer application systems preferred.
