Job Description:
Responsible for the planning, management and coordination of the clinical operation of the delivery of hospice services in the nursing homes, inpatient units, and swing contract beds for MJHS. Responsible for& Education Oversight to ensure the efficient provision of effective, high quality services in compliance with Federal, State and local regulations and JCAHO standards.

Job Requirements:
Masters degree in Nursing, business or other related field preferred or (5) years of nursing supervisory experience. CHPN preferred. Five years Hospice leadership experience. Strong knowledge of PC based applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of JCAHO standards, and conditions of participation for Medicare, State Department of Health and New York City for hospice. Knowledge of third party reimbursement for hospice. Ability to demonstrate effective critical thinking skills. Ability to work within an integrated health care system. Demonstrates leadership qualities in organizing and maintaining a health care delivery system.
