Director of Long Term Services and Supports / LTSS (Long Term Care / LTC)

POSITION SUMMARY

Aetna Better Health of Ohio Premier Plan is recruiting for an individual to be responsible for the development and implementation of the Long Term Care program component of Ohios Medicare-Medicaid Integrated Care Delivery System (ICDS) program. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of administrative experience with home- and community based services and a comprehensive understanding of the needs of persons who qualify for long term services and supports (LTSS) (community and institutional). A qualified candidate must also be an Ohio licensed nurse, LISW or Masters degree in a health related field. The individual selected needs to also have experience working in a highly regulated environment.
The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Implementation and oversight of the clinical / case management functions for individuals receiving LTSS
Collaboration regarding the implementation and oversight of the LTSS provider network
Implementation and oversight of all LTSS program management related functions



EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master's degree.

-Experience in HCBS waiver programs
-Experience managing LTSS care management programs
-Knowledge of LTSS and other community programs and resources
-Experience establishing and maintaining relationships within the community
-Present to consumers, consumer advocates, providers and other stakeholders re: Aetna Better Health of Ohio Premier Plan and LTSS managed care programs
-Develop, build and maintain positive relationships and presence with local consumers, advocates, providers and other community resources
-Medicaid experience preferred
-Managed care experience preferred
