Job Description:
Job Description: Responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of primary patients according to Froedtert Hospital's professional practice model. Will specifically deal with patients undergoing cardiovascular and transplant operations/procedures in the OR at Froedtert Hospital.
Education: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of 2 years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Special Skills: Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and comfort patients and their families and maintain effective contacts with a variety of hospital personnel.
