Job Description:
Job Summary: Functions in accordance with the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code for the Board of Nursing. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, delivers assigned, delegated, direct care to patients consistent with the comprehensive nursing plan, collaborative practice, established standards, and hospital policy and procedure. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse Program or you can have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology or other related field is required with a Nursing Assistant Certificate.
Special Skills: Basic knowledge of all equipment used in patient care.
Licensure: Current LPN licensure by the State of Wisconsin or a valid work permit by the State of Wisconsin on a temporary basis until license is granted or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR. Mandt certification within 90-days of hire.
