Full Time Eligible 80 Hours per pay period. Monday - Friday days. Must be available by phone on weekends. Completion of nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing. Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS cards from American Heart Association required. At least five years of previous sterile processing experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable of Joint Commission and AAMI standards. Must have strong leadership skills, be an excellent communicator, self motivated and be able to work well in a fast paced environment. Provides direct daily supervision of operations and staff in the processing and sterilization of instruments, endoscopes and equipment required to support surgical services quality outcomes, patient safety, and surgeon satisfaction. Provides supervision and direction on instruments and equipment (high-definition endoscopy/video equipment) for minimally invasive surgical and interventional and/ or diagnostic procedures.
