We are a 36 bed unit which supports one of the Top Cardiovascular programs in New England. We offer a challenging, fast paced setting in a state of the art facility and pride ourselves on teamwork and positive patient outcomes. Our dedicated and professional team includes cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, physician assistants, RN's, CNA's, and many more. Nurses work collaboratively with all team members to produce positive results in a professional atmosphere. 8-9 also supports the educational development of staff through a dedicated unit based educator. We are proud to be the recipient of an Outstanding Service Award for our dedication to our patient care and superior service.

The Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute of Connecticut, established in 1991, has received National acclaim as Southern New England's first comprehensive Heart Institute.
Various shifts and hours are available for experienced RNs, including per diem. Please indicate your hours and shift of interest.

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Connecticut registration. BSN preferred. Knowledge of current nursing, medical and health trends and practices in rendering of patient care. Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model.
