You will work collaboratively with physicians and other health team members managing the care for a defined group of patients along the healthcare continuum. Acting as an advocate on their behalf, you will be available to patients and families for consultation and ensure that all of their educational needs are addressed. Our unit consists of 23 beds.

Qualifications
We are accepting applications for experienced Oncology nurses. We currently have one full time day shift opening. Qualifications will be reviewed for this and future opportunities.
Minimum of 2 years experience working as an RN, Chemo Certification and Oncology experience preferred
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with current Connecticut registration. BSN preferred.
Knowledge of current nursing, medical and health trends and practices in rendering of patient care.
Ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model.
