Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

A New York-based health care center is looking to add a new Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to their team. Candidates will be required to admit patients, prepare them for scheduled procedures, and care for them post recovery.

Responsibilities of the L&D Registered Nurse includes, but are not limited to:

• Caring for high risk ante partum patients with multiple high risk diagnoses in an outpatient setting, assessing through fetal diagnostic testing for fetal well-being
• Utilizing the nursing process based on research and evidence based outcomes to meet patient care needs
• Participating in maintaining a safe patient environment
• Maintaining a working knowledge of departmental and hospital standards, policies and procedures
• Projecting an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct
• Supporting the mission of the Patient Care Services
• Participating in the continuous quality improvement process

• BLS 
• NRP 
• RN or Walkthrough experience
• Individual Professional Liability 
• NYC HHC Attestation Form 

• ACLS 
• 2+ years fetal monitor experience
