ICU RN /Intensive Care Unit RN

A hospital in Salem is looking for an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to add to their team. The professional chosen for this role will be responsible for administering prescribed physician treatments.

Hospital

The ICU RN is responsible for:

• Monitoring and recording the status of critical care patients and responding appropriately to signs of deterioration in the patient's condition
• Familiar with the use and maintenance of state of the art medical devices intended to record patient's vital signs or to assist in life support functions
• Observing the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress
• Ensuring that life support equipment, such as ventilators and feeding tubes, functions properly
• Administering IVs, bringing medication and inserting catheters

• Active MA license
• 1+ year of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
