Registered Nurse

A private cardiac clinic is looking to add a Registered Nurse to their team of professionals. The individual chosen for this position will be responsible for providing care to patients within the clinic.

Cardiac Clinic

The Registered Nurse is responsible for:

• Providing evidence-based care to Adult Cardiology patients within the group
• Performing history and physical exams
• Ordering and monitoring medications and treatments for efficacy or possible side effects
• Following up with the results of tests, communicating and consulting with collaborating physicians as needed as per collaborative practice agreement
• Communicating with collaborating physician on a regular basis via E-mail and telephone
• Working with outside medical specialists to ensure coordinated care
• Consulting with patients and families regarding goals of care
• Managing/supervising patients undergoing cardiovascular stress testing
• Serving as a leader, mentor, preceptor, and colleague to the nursing community within the organization

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of cardiology experience
• BLS/ACLS certified
• Stress Test experience in a cardiology office or hospital

• Interventional/cardiothoracic/cardiovascular experience
