ICD-10 Quality Assurance Manager

A hospital is looking to add an experienced ICD-10 Quality Assurance Manager to their team of professionals. The individual in this role is responsible for providing support to the ICD-10 Director’s strategic oversight to lead and execute the hospital's ICD10 transition program.

The ICD-10 Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for:

• Working closely with Revenue Cycle, Patient Accounting, Compliance, Managed Care and HIM to resolve unbilled or ICD-10 coding account issues
• Identifying and resolving obstacles and inefficiencies that delay timely coding and abstracting

• 5+ years of leadership experience in HIM/Revenue Cycle
• 2+ years of ICD-10 experience
• AHIMA or AAPC Coding Credential and AHIMA ICD-10 Trainer Certification
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience managing large complex projects
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong conceptual as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
