The qualified nursing professional will be responsible for collaborating with the clinical supervisors, unit leaders, care managers, member services, internal and external resources and members to build a system of care that supports the member’s full participation in community life. | |

The Nurse Educator will be responsible for: - Planning, developing, and implementing tools to measure nursing competency
- Monthly reporting on performance measures
- Reporting findings of staff performance to Clinical Supervisors and assisting them in creating a plan to meet individual training needs and improve performance
- Providing guidance, coaching and supervision to nursing staff
- Planning and developing trainings based on needs of nursing staff
- Developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating/improving the orientation, cross training and education/competency processes/systems for nursing staff
- Continuous quality improvement of ICS nursing department.
- Making recommendations for improving performance and managing utilization
- Ensuring compliance and documentation of member records based on ICS standards by routinely conducting internal audits
- Preparing and coordinating data and compliance reports
- Assisting with data reconciliation and clean-up
- Preparing and coordinating data and compliance reports
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of internal support resources (PCA Services, Transportation, Wound Care, Behavioral Health, Rehab and Specialty Disease Management Units) and external resources to meet member needs
- Participating in projects, meetings, committees and improvement activities

- 5+ years community health or home care or MLTC
- 2+ years management/leadership roles with responsibility for direct supervision of staff
- RN
- BSN
- Excellent communication skills
