Director of Quality Assurance

A healthcare organization needs a Director of Quality Assurance.  This position is responsible for design, development, implementation and on-going improvement and maintenance of quality improvement initiatives necessary for attaining NCQA accreditation and HEDIS, URAC and the New Jersey State report card for all products.  This is a fantastic leadership position for an ambitious and bright Registered Nurse.

The Director of Quality:

• Oversees the design, development, implementation of NCQA  work  plan and provides leadership to ensure attainment of high accreditation standards
• Directs staff to support quality improvement and initiatives in regional sites and to ensure appropriate staffing and effective operation
• Provides consultative support to the company in clinical and service quality
• Oversees credentialing and re-credentialing for all products including preferred provider organization (PPO) products, and managed networks for Horizon Mercy and regional areas
• Develops and implements quality measurement for PPO and indemnity products
• Works in conjunction with medical staff to assess opportunities for improvement and implement changes that will have a positive impact on medial outcomes and compliance with the company's policies and contractual obligations
• Develop standard response for use for request for information and proposals and assist marketing in development of presentations as they relate to quality initiatives

• RN, BSN
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Project management experience
• Success in obtaining NCQA accreditation
