CARDIAC CATH - Clinical Manager, Cardiac Catheterization

This unit consists of 10 Interventional Labs and an Electrophysiology Lab. In addition, we perform Endovascular interventions. We are a leader in cardiovascular care in South Florida and beyond, and have been recognized by Thomson Reuters as one of the top 100 cardiovascular programs in the country. We foster a patient and family-centered care environment. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Administrative Director, the Clinical Manager assumes responsibility for managing a designated shift in the CVI Suites of Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology to assure quality patient care. Meets standards of quality as measured by the PI process. Responsible for staffing, patient flow and overall management of Cardiac Cath Lab/Post Interventional Procedure Unit activities on a shift-by-shift basis.
Experience:
Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS required. Ability to circulate cases and to monitor hemodynamics. Takes call as assigned. Functions as Preceptor for new RNs to the Cath Lab and participates in panel interview process. Must demonstrate excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction. Must have minimum 3 years Cath Lab/Interventional RN experience. Supervisory experience required. Must be familiar with special technology utilized in the Cardiac Cath Lab/IR.
