| Job Summary: | The Manager, Nursing Unit assumes accountability and responsibility for the operation and management of Medical/Surgical/Oncology Inpatient Unit. He/she combines clinical expertise with the application of leadership and nursing management principles to deliver high quality, cost-effective patient care and ensure customer satisfaction. |
| Requirements: | Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Active RN license and CPR certification required. Evidence of progressive leadership responsibilities and current certification in ONS or ability to obtain, current certification in the administration of chemotherapy. Five (5) years of current medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care environment, which includes at least two (2) years of management experience. |
