The YRMC Emergency Department staff treats more than 72,000 patients each year, making it one of the busiest emergency departments in Arizona. In addition to delivering round-the-clock emergency care that includes respiratory therapy, radiology and a pharmacy, YRMC's emergency department offers:An electronic patient tracking system that helps speed the registration process and provides the YRMC staff with vital patient medical information. Immediate access to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for patients with suspected heart attacks. Comprehensive stroke care that enables YRMC physicians to use telemedicine technology to conduct real-time consultations with a Mayo Clinic neurologist when necessary.
