Nurse Practitioner, NeuroCare ICU
The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our expanding NeuroCare ICU. We seek several motivated individuals to participate in the management of patients presenting with neurosurgical interventions. This is a truly outstanding opportunity for an NP who is interested in neurologic disease and wants to be a member of a multidisciplinary team. Clinical and educational collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care and other related services is expected. Continuing education in the sub specialty is encouraged and supported.
Our NP practice model offers 24/7 coverage. Scheduling availability includes a day/night rotating shift, or a night shift schedule with shift and weekend differentials provided.
Completion of an NP Program at the Masters level, with Acute Care NP certification. Licensure in Maryland, and at least 2 years of NP experience, with NeuroCare NP experience preferred.
