In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to plan the delivery of safe, therapeutic, population-specific patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. With the patient and family central to the care, you will incorporates the unique characteristics and needs of each patient and family member into the care delivery process. In addition, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes, as well as provide leadership to the team by orienting, mentoring and managing team members to assure that quality care is delivered with compassion, dignity and respect as well as efficiency. You will also participate in unit/department/institutional performance improvement activities that impact patient/family and service outcomes based on professional practice standards.
We Require:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License. Current BLS certification, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Basic computer and good communication skills.
