We’re a 361-bed Magnet hospital and we seek a professional to facilitate improvement in the quality, accuracy and completeness of medical records documentation. In this function, you’ll analyze clinical info through medical records reviews and staff meetings, use your clinical savvy to evaluate discharge diagnoses, run reports, and identify any discrepancies or opportunities for improvement. You’ll then follow through with personnel from all disciplines, and develop education programs to assist them in the future.

Our ideal candidate is an RN with current NJ license and keen organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. He/she will have at least 5 years clinical experience--ideally in med/surg, acute or critical care—that reflect sound knowledge of the disease process. An eye for accuracy, critical thinking talent and knowledge of Medicare Part A & B and other regulatory/reimbursement criteria are essential.  BSN required, an MSN and CDMP skills are strongly preferred.
