Nurse Practitioner or Physican Assistant will be considered for this position.
Nurse Practitioner requires Masters Degree in Nursing with current National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Nurse Practitioner. Current Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and Medicine. Current authorizaton to prescribe by the Virginia Board of Nursing and Board of Medicine.
Physician Assistant requires a current Physician Assistant licensure by the State of Virginia with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS & ACLS certifications. The Physician Assistant reflects the Virginia Board of Medicine’s Regulations Governing the Practice of Physician Assistants. All services rendered by a Physician Assistant shall be to provide the best care to patients and their families while under the continuous supervision of a doctor of medicine.
