a.Inpatient-Function independently in conjunction with the total urology team to design and evaluate individualized patient care treatment plans and to ensure that patient care meets/exceeds standard of care according to LUMCs mission.
b.Outpatient-Function independently to improve our patient throughoutby having his/her own new patient general urology clinic (LOC) and to provide follow-up care to endourology patients, infertility patients, and erectile dysfunction patients
c.Inpatient-Improve department pre-op testing, assess the special needs of pre-op patients for timely labs, radiology studies, medical clearance, tumor staging, etc. in order to decrease/operating room cancellation rates
d.Inpatient/outpatient-Perform selected invasive procedures, including bladder catherization, CV line removals, bladder U/S studies, etc.
e.Inpatient-Improve discharge planning and patient satisfaction and practitioner/patient communication (work directly to improve patient satisfaction scores and monitor outcomes).
f.Inpatient/outpatient-Exhibit professionalism in performing research education and leadership in clinical practice
g.Quality/ Safety Coordinator- serve as the departmental champion for these intiatives
