Under limited supervision, performs comprehensive medical and nursing evaluation to diagnose and treat patients. Performs duties that extend beyond that of the typical Registered Nurse role; functions as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Requirements:Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline;Master's degree in an advanced practice nurse practitioner program. Must be agraduate of an accredited school of nursing attaining a BSN degree. Current National Nurse Practitioner Certification, Currently licensed as RN in Maryland, Board Certified, Certified in Basic Life Support. Cerner Millennium Power Chart Computer Software, Intellidose Computer Order Entry, Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite. One to three years of experience.
