A state-approved level III regional perinatal intensive care center (RPICC), this Bayfront program is one of only 11 in the state of Florida. Perinatologists who specialize in high-risk births with neonatologists specializing in high-risk infants together offer patients some of the finest, most experienced care in the country. Bayfront was also the birth place of Florida’s first set of sextuplets.
And, as a premier teaching facility, Bayfront is training the doctors of tomorrow. Our entire obstetrics team was recently named "Best Team" by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
REGISTERED NURSE - Labor and Delivery
Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards/protocols. Delegates appropriate care activities to RN I, LPN I/II/III, PCT, Paramedic and unit secy/monitor tech. Responsible for professional accountability and development.
