With 6 Operating Suites, 3 Endo Suites (Pre-op, PACU and Post-op) the team of professionals within the Same Day Surgery Center at Bayfront Medical Center perform over 600 cases per month. Our commitment to technology and outstanding patient care has created an environment which offers superb team member / physician relationships and offers our nurses the ability to contribute their skills for better patient outcomes.
I ndependently cares for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards/protocols. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development. Supervises RN I, LPN, PCT, OR Tech, Scrub Tech and ORA.
Requirements Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, prefer BSN. Must have a current Florida RN licensure. Must have BCLS. Prefer CNOR. Must have OR RN experience or Critical Care RN experience. Prefer Ambulatory Surgery Center experience and Preceptor/Charge skills. Must have strong Interpersonal skills, Critical Thinking skills, Delegation skills, Computer skills and excellent Customer Service skills.
