| Description Facility Description: The Womens Center at Florida Hospital Tampa is a freestanding pavilion dedicated to caring for women throughout all stages of their life. Job Summary: The Neo/Peds Transport RN performs all necessary nursing care procedures associated with transporting acute or critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients to and from Florida Hospital Tampa in accordance with department protocol. He/she initiates and maintains appropriate treatment, including life support technique and equipment, while at the referral facility or in transport. Minimum competency in all applicable advanced clinical skills must be exceeded. The Neo/Peds Transport RN is also responsible for RN Critical Care responsibilities when not performing actively on the transport team. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Must be available to take call as needed. Qualifications Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing • ASN required, BSN preferred • Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS required • Must be at the level of Critical RN and have at least one year neonatal and pediatric critical care experience |
