Registered Nurse, Heart Services:
Reporting to the Nursing Manager of Heart Services, this position is responsible for the planning and delivery of family-centered patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with patient/family and other professional disciplines. Create a partnership to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of mutually desired patient outcomes. Support the organization’s vision and mission. Promote and provide excellence in nursing care. The population includes newborns through young adults.
This position requires:

At least 1 year acute care nursing experience with at least 6 months in a pediatric setting

Training/experience in non-invasive pediatric cardiodiagnostics or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Associate Degree in Nursing from an approved school

California Registered Nurse

Basic Life Support - BLS
-
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS
This position prefers:

1 year acute care experience in a pediatric inpatient hospital

3-5 years of pediatric telemetry or ICU background

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
