As a member of the Adventist Healthcare System, our mission is to extend the Healing Ministry of Christ and to provide extraordinary compassionate care to each patient every day.  Florida Hospital Tampa, located across from the University of South Florida, is a 475-bed hospital that provides strategic medical care through the development of specialized Centers of Excellence that focus resources on major disease areas, including cardiovascular care, women's services, cancer treatment, pediatrics, orthopaedics and diabetes management. In addition, we offer several specialized service units, including intensive care, pediatric/neonatal intensive care, rehabilitation, occupational health, continuing care and general surgery as well as a 24-hour emergency department with dedicated treatment facilities for chest pain, pediatrics and minor care.Job Summary:The Clinical Services, Supv. is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the oversight of all clinical care provided by the multidisciplinary team of clinicians to Home Health clients at UCH Home Health at both the Tampa and Pasco locations.  The Clinical Services, Supv. directs, supervises, evaluates and coordinates patient care by directly managing the Clinical Staff and Performance Improvement Nurse Specialist, and indirectly the Schedulers and the Intake Specialists.  Collaborates with the Corporate Director, Home Health to ensure quality orientation of new clinical staff, performance improvement activities, and compliance with regulatory, Joint Commission standards and survey readiness.  Able to function as back up for positions supervised.  Serves as a resource person for staff.  Provides input into staff performance appraisals.  Attends hospital meetings as assigned.         

 

 


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  BSN preferred 
  • Master’s degree in healthcare operations, including financial management.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Current BCLS
  • Certification/advanced training in coding/Oasis
  • 5 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Home Health nursing
  • 5 years of progressive and/or senior level management experience in home health, with emphasis on operations, clinical compliance and financial management preferred
