MSN needed to fill Program Director position for an established Behavioral Health Program at Weirton Medical Center.
SUMMARY PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the overall coordination, administration and management of psychiatric services and ensures high quality, high utilization and adherence to both DHC and Hospital Policies and Procedures and Plans.
REPORTS TO: Diamond Healthcare Senior Executive.
EDUCATION: Registered Nurse preferred. Master's degree in Counseling or related field may be considered.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years experience in administrative, clinical or healthcare management with an emphasis on experience in the field of psychiatric or behavioral science modalities. Marketing experience helpful.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Will be located in and around the Inpatient Behavioral Health Department and the Hospital facilities. Some hazard potential from possibility of physically acting out behavior of patients and health related communicable diseases, some assistance may be required in assisting patients in personal hygiene and positioning.
