DESCRIPTION:
To provide a coordinated community outreach and assessment service for the
Program. To coordinate the education and community relations activities of the treatment staff. To develop strategies that result in a positive community image and assist the facility in meeting its goals.
REPORTS TO: Program Director.
EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred.

5+ years behavioral health experience

Experience working with a geriatric population

Experience assessing patients

Referral development experience
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of or experience in mental health or chemical dependency fields; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to adapt to workload demands and set priorities; positive, professional presentation; ability to build rapport quickly and develop working relationships; ability to work cooperatively with the program staff; good communication and organizational skills. Clinical experience sufficient to perform required assessment services. Requires access to transportation.
