Once you find nurses who are a good fit, getting them to join your organization relies heavily on showing them all the benefits they&#8217;re signing up for.<\/p>\n<h2>Nurses Want to Know<\/h2>\n<p>Besides the job description and commonly offered benefits such as health and disability insurance, what other details do nurses want and need to know?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/mediakit.nurse.com\/nurse-com-salary-survey-uncovers-benefits-nurses-want-but-dont-have\/\">2020 Nurse.com Nurse Salary Survey and Report<\/a> identified three main categories surrounding benefits that were important to nurses seeking jobs: bonuses, paid continuing education, and tuition reimbursement.<\/p>\n<p>Other <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1177\/0033354917719704\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">studies<\/a> have identified additional perks that are enticing to nurses, including flexible work schedules and employee autonomy.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, you also may want to tout the types of legal supports and protections new hires have access to when they join your organization, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Risk management services<\/li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)<\/li>\n<li>Human resource teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>These support systems help promote a positive working environment, which can lead to healthy working relationships among nurses and other healthcare team members.
