Career Builder\u2019s survey ranked the top details good talent hope appears in<a href=\"http:\/\/advertise.nurse.com\/how\/#job-board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> job descriptions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Use this as your road map:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary \u2013 74%<\/li>\n<li>Total benefits package \u2013 61%<\/li>\n<li>Employee ratings \u2013 46%<\/li>\n<li>Contact info of hiring manager \u2013 40%<\/li>\n<li>Work from home options \u2013 39%<\/li>\n<li>How the company provides work-life balance \u2013 35%<\/li>\n<li>Photos\/videos of the work environment \u2013 31%<\/li>\n<li>Team structure and hierarchy of the role \u2013 27%<\/li>\n<li>How many people applied \u2013 25%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdoor.com\/employers\/popular-topics\/hr-stats.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Glassdoor U.S. Site Survey<\/a> in January 2016 also suggests you include basic company information, what makes employees want to work at your company and explain your company\u2019s mission statement.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is one example of a company that has started using mobile-friendly, interactive ads on its career site.\u00a0If you aren\u2019t sure how to create one of these ads, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.careers.jnj.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">check out some of their job listings.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Words and phrases used in job descriptions matter<\/h3>\n<p>Loaded, biased and overused words can turn off potential job candidates. To create highly effective job listings, you can use augmented writing platforms,<a href=\"https:\/\/textio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> such as Textio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Just upload your job description and the software will tell you how effective your job listing is based on the words you chose. It also will give you advice on how to change specific words or phrases to improve your messaging to good talent.<\/p>\n<p>The score is a percentage based on job listings in your region, so you can see how your job posting stacks up to your local competition.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson &amp; Johnson just started using Textio for its job descriptions and it has provided some profound insights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe found that many of our job descriptions skewed masculine, but when we started editing the descriptions with Textio in the pilot program, we saw a 9% increase in female applicants,\u201d Chuck Fuges, Global Head of Sourcing, Johnson &amp; Johnson, said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jnj.com\/innovation\/3-ways-johnson-and-johnson-is-taking-talent-acquisition-to-the-next-level\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">company article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Listen to job applicant feedback like they are customers<\/h3>\n<p>Create honest, open communication with your job applicants. Send them anonymous surveys to gauge their satisfaction level throughout your job application process.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson &amp; Johnson sends surveys at the beginning and end of its process, for example, to gauge how applicants feel when it starts and when it finishes and if their feelings change.<\/p>\n<p>Some example questions for a survey could be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Would you recommend our
