$65 Hour taxable w/$1,162/nontaxable stipend

Minimum three years current (must have worked within the last six months) experience in an Operating Room setting or current operating room nursing certification.

All nurses in the operating room must be certified to perform the following routine scrub nurse duties and procedures on all patients:

• Demonstrates proper aseptic technique

• Operates mechanics of or table

• Operates mechanics of or lights

• Assists anesthesiologist

• Positions patients properly

• Opening room

• Conducts sponge count

• Completes work sheet

• Scrub Nurse specific duties. All nurses in the operating room must also be certified to

perform the following routine scrub nurse duties and procedures on all patients

• Demonstrates proper aseptic technique when scrubbing in on the following surgeries: Minor

Procedure, Plastic, General, GU, Oral, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, ENT, Cardiac

and Thoracic.

• May be required to work with COVID 19 positive patients and Patients Under Investigation (PUI), for COVID 19
