JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

1. 1 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in outpaitnet; prefer 2 years as MA in Orthopedics setting
2. CPR/BLS through the AHA
3. Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI).
4. Exprience with wound care and cast care
5. Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
6. Preferred:  Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
