JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 2+ years experience preferred
- Ability to deliver excellent patient care through the nursing unit process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and organizational skills.
- Prioritizes tasks and adjusts priorities when necessary.
- Upholds an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients.
- Reports errors and unusual occurrences, and initiates corrective action when appropriate.
- Make accurate, comprehensive, and timely entries into the patient medical record addressing all steps of the nursing process.
- Actively communicates with members of the healthcare team, patient, and patient family.
- Current state nursing license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred through American Heart Association
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
