SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

Additional Information about our Medical Intensive Care Unit:

29-Bed Medical ICU

Nurse to patient ratios based on acuity (very fast pace)

Patient turnover ranges from 5 – 12 days

Types of patients you may see are ventilated tracheostomy patients

Stroke designated unit, where patients with neurologic problems are seen

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

• Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
• Tuition Reimbursement Program ($5,250/calendar year)

 LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Current Registered Nurse License in this state

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

Experience:

 

• Two years Registered Nurse experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in leadership and management within the specialty .  Experience as a Charge RN preferred.
