The skilled nursing facility is divided into two units; a sub-acute unit and a long-term care unit. Our associates are caring and create a loving home-like environment for 89 residents. Prescribes, delegates and coordinates the nursing care provided on assigned unit, as appropriate for the ages of the residents served. Routinely functions as the nurse responsible for a group of residents, or as a preceptor. or as the Charge Nurse. Supervises and directs the nursing care provided by other nursing staff in a positive and courteous manner. Communicates effectively to other staff to promote efficient continuity of care.
REQUIRED: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with an AD, Diploma, or BSN degree. Currently licensed as an RN with the Georgia State Board of Nursing or temporary permit. Experienced nurse changing to an area with no experience in that area or BSN, AD, Diploma, MSN with one year (minimum) recent experience in that area. Prior experience with long term care. Successful completion of Clinical Nurse I orientation requirements
