ICU Unit will float to ICSU, CSU, CCU (Critical Care Areas) and Tele Patient Population (i.e Orthopedic, Urology, Mix, etc) Respiratory, Neuro, post surgery, ICU, and post CSU on vents. Specific Procedures and Interventions Performed on Unit Skills/Requirements/Certifications for Nurses Nuerosurgical overflow, acute neuro, active GI bleeds, DKA on insulin drips, Surgical patients: craniotomy, thoracotomy, AAA, Renal Failure requiring CRRT or hemodialysis, CCU overflow. Ventilator patient management, ABG's interpretation, pacemakers- permanent and temporary. Monitor- Hewlett Packard. Vents- PB2000, Purit UNIT DESCRIPTION: ICU Unit will float to ICSU, CSU, CCU (Critical Care Areas) and Tele Patient Population (i.e Orthopedic, Urology, Mix, etc) Respiratory, Neuro, post surgery, ICU, and post CSU on vents. Specific Procedures and Interventions Performed on Unit Skills/Requirements/Certifications for Nurses Nuerosurgical overflow, acute neuro, active GI bleeds, DKA on insulin drips, Surgical patients: craniotomy, thoracotomy, AAA, Renal Failure requiring CRRT or hemodialysis, CCU overflow. Must take and Pass EKG test upon arrival to continue assignment
