As a Community Crisis Center RN Supervisor, you will need to know how to oversee the daily clinical operations of the department with responsibilities including, but not limited to, shift leadership and supervision, staff scheduling, regulatory compliance, for example, core measures, client advocacy and satisfaction as well as client/bed flow activities. Shift Leadership Serve as a clinical resource person to staff as well as acting as a liaison between staff and management, facilitating collaborative client care; may include physician contact Provide leadership and facilitates application of evidenced based practices and clinical improvement efforts Perform staffing assignments to ensure a comprehensive skill mix and acuity level and ensures productivity goals are met Assist designated administrator with human resource management activities including, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, coaching, mentoring, scheduling, providing constructive feedback, and evaluating staff Provide input in the preparation of annual budgets for capital equipment, personnel, supplies, and other departmental costs Review information with staff to foster critical thinking and decision making; coordinate calls with other resources to reduce the number of E.R. s Perform KRONOS time edits Quality Improvement and Regulatory Compliance Measure effectiveness of processes utilized to improve client flow, client satisfaction and staff satisfaction Manage CCC specific processes as well as policies and procedures to meet all regulatory standards Investigate unusual occurrences that occur during the shift and document appropriately Facilitate completion of performance monitors in an appropriate timeframe including but not limited to CARF, Core Measures, Joint Commission Indicators, and National Patient Safety Goals Patient Advocacy Act as a primary service recovery resource and liaison for staff, client, visitors, and E.R s Assist clinical staff with developing evidence based interventions Attend and oversee client admissions to the CCC, managing client flow to ensure a smooth transition through the processes from admission to discharge Assist in the implementation of strategic client care initiatives Your experience. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing BSN degree or completion of an accredited program within three (3) years of hire preferred Current Montana RN license At least two (2) years clinical nursing experience in a related specialty area preferred Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association and other certifications relative to position acquired within three (3) years of hire Your next move.
