IMCU RN DAY SHIFT This is a high acuity Cardiac and Stroke Unit. 4-5 patient ratio.

This is a Three 12hr _DAY__ shift position-7:00 am-7:30pm and every other weekend.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled dialogue, the registered nurse leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
  • The nurse delivers and coordinates patient-centered care across the continuum to support the successful transition of patients to other healthcare delivery systems or their home communities.
  • The registered nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE TO QUALIFY:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    • BSN preferred for experienced new hire nurses.
    • Certification in your current area of specialty once meeting eligibility requirements.
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • Current CPR
  • Minimum 1 year of experience:
    May be In Med/Surg or Telemetry preferred
  • Successfully completes ECG course and annual exam
  • Completes and maintains ACLS certification
