Clipboard Health is looking for a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)to join our team and our platform. We are a staffing agency with a unique twist: we work with a variety of facilities and allow you, the nurse, to schedule shifts when and where you want. You will not be on call, and there is no minimum number of shifts you need to fill. We give you the option to simply match shifts that meet your schedules and availability.
The CRNA will provide anesthesia care topatients. At least 1 year of CRNA experience preferred. Must be able to take a call and respond within the hospital-required response time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor vital signs, reaction to interventions to determine the status of the patient, and carries out emergency measures when indicated.
Must keep the physician advised of the patient’s condition and maintain records of the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative state of the patient and all anesthesia and medication given.
Assists with maintaining clean and ready anesthesia working areas and anesthesia machines for emergency cases during all shifts. This includes but not limited to changing breathing circuits, soda sorb, suction tubing and canisters.
Participate in the management of the patient while in the post anesthesia recovery area, including ordering the administration of fluids and drugs and completing a post-operative anesthesia evaluation.
- Must hold current Certified Nurse Anesthetist Certification to practice in the state of California.
- Active BLS and ACLS
- AANA Certification
