0 PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To lead clinical and quality improvement outcomes for the patients and families of CCHMC who have Tracheostomy tubes and are on ventilators as well as making impacts and leading efforts for patients and families outside of CCHMC by being a leader in national initiatives. Will be a clinical expert, educator, liaison, and team leader who is a self-starter, innovator, collaborator, and will facilitate program development in concert with leadership. Will assist with clinical research after completing CITI training.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance - Patient Services StaffSustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Support leadership in Compliance efforts to meet and sustain the regulatory compliance efforts of the department and hospital. Be mindful and judicious in monitoring safety and departmental policies and procedures. Ensure all individual certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled in a timely basis. Work with department managers, nurse council and magnet representatives to identify and share safety best practices. Be mindful of CCHMCs processes and compliance with CMS standards and freely communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership team members. Qualification:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
5 years nursing experience for RN III, 2 years experience for RNII
Bachelor of Science Nursing from a regionally accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation) Registered Nurse License H-1B visa sponsorship is not available

Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation)
