Job Summary:

To provide athletic training services. To participate in administrative, operational and clinical functions of department, hospital and allicance.

Responsibilities:

Provides athletic training services according to departmental and professional standards of care.

Participates in the education of staff, students and volunteers by sharing responsibility for both the numbers of requests and quality of feedback from participants.

Participates with program development and implementation as determined by departmental needs.

Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings/clinics as indicated by department/organization needs.

Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) activities by maintaining acceptable level of personal achievement and assisting with data collection and analysis.

Maintains technical and clinical competency according to department/organization/professional standards.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: None

Number and Type of Employees Supervised: None.

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Department of Health Environmental Control (DHEC) and National Athletic Trainers Association-Board of Certification (NATABOC) certification
