What You Will Do

Job Summary:

Administers anesthetic care for the purpose of facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures.
  • Typical starting time 6:30 a.m. with OR cases starting around 7-7:30 a.m.

  • Work with a very collegial group with strong team atmosphere
  • Cases: 5500 cases/year 500 deliveries/year

  • Join a well-established Anesthesiologist Group of
    • 3Anesthesiologist
    • 6CRNA
  • Call: 1:6 Nights and same for Weekends

Responsibilities:
  • Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
  • Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
  • Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
  • Recognizes alterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and/or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician as indicated.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

Education:
  • Diploma
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia required

Work Experience:
  • No experience required, but some experience preferred.
