What You Will Do

As an associate with Sacred Heart Health System-FL, you will have the opportunity to manageall aspects of the Infection Prevention Program.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the planning, development and implementation of the overall operational objectives, goals and processes.
  • Establishes and assures compliance of infection prevention policies and procedures to meet all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages recruitment, interview, selection, retention, staff development and performance management processes for the staff of assigned departments.
  • Manages the development of department operating and capital budgets and achievement of financial goals.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • Certificationspecializing inInfection Controlcredentialed from theCertification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Nurseobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
  • Diploma
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required

Work Experience:
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
