a Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Analyst / Chest Pain Coordinator
to work in the Quality department to
serve as the leader of the Nursing Care team who is ultimately responsible and
accountable to the patient for the assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation of patient focused, outcome oriented care.

What you will do in this role:
  • The
    Chest Pain Coordinator involves the coordination of clinical management of the
    chest pain/Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) patient population across the entire
    continuum of care.
  • Serves
    as a leader for the Chest Pain program performance and improvement initiative
    as well as monitors outcomes.
  • Acts
    as a clinical resource and a role model for all areas caring for ACS patients.
  • Provides
    and/or coordinates educational activities with nursing management and the
    education department for physicians, staff, patients, EMS and referral hospitals.
  • Acts
    as a community liaison on behalf of the program and hospital.
  • Directly
    involved in the marketing/promotion of services provided.


What qualifications
you will need:

  • Licensed
    to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Louisiana
  • Graduate
    of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred
  • CPR
    for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of hire
