RN Registered Nurse
Department:Progressive Care
Schedule:PRN, Night shift. 6:30pm-7am.
Location:St. John Medical Center

Progressive Care is a 23-bed unit caring for patients who are not ill enough for the ICU but still require an elevated level of skilled nursing care. In this area, you will learn various disease processes and expand your knowledge to a lot of different procedures. What You Will Do
As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to providedirect nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained within1 Month (30 days)of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Nursecredentialed from theOklahoma Board of Nursing.
    • LicensedRegistered Nurseobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
  • Diploma
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:
  • None required.
